watched a French film, La Vie En Rose, yesterday. the story is about a famous French singer, Edith Piaf. i tried to do a portrait of her but it turned out not looking like her but i tried.. her distinct features, i find are her thin eyebrow (maybe that the trend then) and her big eyes.

I love the hair tho. Well thats the thing about drawing other people...it's YOUR enterpretation of what they look like - there have ben times where I've drawn people and they loook NOTHING like them, but it's how I see them

..and i know that name sounded familiar then it dawned on me "La Vie en Rose" is actually the name of a lingerie shop over here
